The Studio
Each piece of Jewellery is designed and handcrafted in my tiny studio at home in Lincolnshire, UK. The Jewellery is inspired by living a beautiful life in shire and shore. Every piece of jewellery made is either cast, cut, carved, punched, stamped, moulded, annealed, filed and polished; before being hallmarked by Sheffield Assay Office with the makers mark SG or full sponsor hallmark. With the beauty of handcrafted work, no two pieces are ever the same.

Gifts that Give Back
I am extremely passionate about the environment and the impact that single use plastic packaging has on the environment. So I decided to go Green and make my packaging 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. The postal boxes are made in the UK and can be widely recycled, the cotton bags are biodegradable or can be reused to keep your jewellery safe.
Where possible I aim to use recycled sterling silver. Ecosilver is an eco-friendly alternative. Made of 100% recycled silver products, using jewellery, medical equipment, electronics and giftware. Ecosilver is worked in the same way as silver, for the same quality results, it is just simply more environmentally friendly. All of our Ecosilver comes with a certificate of authenticity from the supplier.

But that’s not all, £1 from each piece of Jewellery sold is donated to help protect UK Woodlands and Wildlife. Meaning when you buy a gift, your gift gives back to Nature, supporting the UK’s woods and trees for people and wildlife for many more generations.

Sophie Greeen
On the 19th October 2019, I married my Childhood Sweetheart and became Sophie Green.
This is where my story starts… for many years I have been intrigued by silversmithing after watching an episode of Country File one Sunday evening of a woman making jewellery at the Kitchen Table, and I thought to myself I would love to try this.
I have always been creative and a doer, making something but I never had the opportunity to explore Silversmithing. The month before my Wedding I enrolled onto a course at my local College to study Jewellery making and Design to see if it was for me. One of the first pieces I made was a personalised LOVE Bangle for my beautiful Bridesmaids to say thank you. Engraved with their names on the inside and LOVE Stamped on the outside.

From the very moment I presented my friends with the Bangles, I knew this is something I would love to do for a living. So I continued my course until Covid19 hit, stopping everything in its tracks, including my job. For the first few months of lockdown I continued to refine my silversmithing skills at home, until I was ready to sell a few of my pieces to friends and family in the summer. With no work coming in and being self employed I decided to launch Sophie Green Silversmith in June 2020.
